In early October, the fields of “Yampil-Invest” farm, which is part of “ROSTOK-HOLDING” Group, hosted a test drive of machinery supplied from the Swedish company Väderstad.
“We have been testing various machinery from world’s leading producers for already 3 years in a row. Our goal is fleet that best meets our needs.
This time we had an opportunity to test an extremely powerful Carrier disc harrow, which is made of Swedish heavy-duty steel. The Carrier proved to be a multifunctional unit combining functions of till-plow, disk harrow and cultivator to align fields and save soil moisture. Although this is not the limit as most Carrier cultivators can be charged with additional functions. All in all, we consider this to be an undeniable strength”, — said Mykola Kozlov, Regional Director of “ROSTOK-HOLDING” Group in Sumy region.
Väderstad offers several models of Carriers. Width ranges from 3 to 12.25 m. During test-drive on the fields of the group in Sumy region Väderstad’s disk harrow Carrier 650 was tested the coverage of which reaches 6.5 meters. Aggregated with tractor JD8310R the Carrier cultivated fields after corn and sunflower.
“ROSTOK-HOLDING” is grateful to its partners, «Väderstad» company, for an interesting demo which will certainly become a launching pad into successful cooperation in the future!
