The farms of “ROSTOK-HOLDING” are gathering oilseeds, i.e. sunflower and soybean.
As of September 16, sunflower was harvested on the area of 4.5 thou ha, which is 38% of the aggregate amount. Thus, the croppage amounted to 13.6 thou tons, while the average crop yield reached 30.2 hundredweight/ha.
The farms started collecting soybean. To date 1.4 thou tons of soybean has been collected from 0.5 thou ha of the planned 3.4 thou ha. The average soybean yield stands at 27.0 hundredweight/ha.
“Harvesting campaign takes place in due course. Weather helps us. Meantime, we also started preparing soil and sowing winter wheat. To date, 35% of the planned area has been already sown. Winter wheat area size is planned to reach 9.4 thou ha next year” — says Yurii Lebedev, Chief agronomist of the Group.
