“ROSTOK-HOLDING” Group plans to upgrade elevator complex in Novgorod-Siverskii city (Chernihiv region) by harvesting early crops. Reconstruction has already begun. The project is to be completed by the end of July.
“Reconstruction of Novgorod-Siverskii elevator will facilitate optimization of the crop mix of this cluster, i.e. it will allow to expand the area under corn, the most profitable crop, twofold. It will also help to adjust the area under less profitable crops”, — says Valerii Laskov, the Chief Executive Officer of “ROSTOK-HOLDING” Group.
The cost of the project is ca. UAH 90 mln.
Upon completion of the project the simultaneous storage and acceptance capacity of Novhorod-Siverskii elevator is to increase twofold — up to 22.5 thou. tons and 2.5 thou. tons, respectively. The design drying capacity is to grow by 5.5 times to 1.5 thou. tons/day, the shipping capacity — to 1.5 thou. tons/day.
Thus, upon commissioning of Novgorod-Siverskii elevator complex the group’s aggregate storage capacity will exceed 100 thou. tons, the aggregate drying capacity — 6 thou. tons/day. The group’s shipping capacity will increase to 4.5 thou. tons/day.
