“ROSTOK-HOLDING” group reports it has harvested 19,400 tons gross weight of sunflower on the area of 7850 hectares, which is 101% of the target. The highest yields were demonstrated by such companies of the group: Ichnianske Private Leased Agricultural Enterprise — 26.9 centner/ha, Agrofirma Nadia LLC — 26.1 centner/ha, Khliborob Private Leased Agricultural Enterprise — 25.8 centner/ha, Berehinia LLC — 23.9 centner/ha. On average the yield reached 24.7 centner/ha, showing growth of 15% y-o-y.
The group continues harvesting maize, group’s main crop. This year, maize has been planted on the area of over 9,200 hectares and its gross yield has already reached 70,560 tons. Maize on ca. 1850 hectares is yet to be harvested. The yields of maize are as follows: Ichnianske Private Leased Agricultural Enterprise — 106.8 centner/ha, AF im. Chapaieva LLC — 104.2 centner/ha, Agrofirma Nadia LLC — 96 centner/ha, Shalihinske LLC — 95.8 centner/ha. The average yield of maize stands at 96 centner/ha, growing 17% y-o-y.
“We are pleased with the harvest of 2012. Good crop yields the enterprises of the group demonstrated are the result of the usage of latest agro technologies and CPTs. On top of that, high yields are due to the favourable weather conditions in the regions where the group operates.
The ongoing plan of the group is to make use of the new technology and innovative approaches to further improve crop yield and margin per hectare”, said Ihor Makukha, Chief Executive Officer of the group.
